About the course

Being good at what you do doesn’t automatically make the business side easy. This course focuses on the practical pieces that help turn your education into a professional equine wellness practice, whether you’re starting from the beginning or adding new services to an existing business. You’ll work through service development, pricing, client communication, marketing, record keeping, invoicing, additional revenue opportunities, time management, business goals, and creating a practice that remains realistic for you to maintain.

Build a business that actually fits your work

There is no single correct way to structure an equine wellness business. Some practitioners work full-time, some build gradually alongside another career, and others add acupressure or integrative services to an established massage, bodywork, or holistic practice. The goal of this course is to help you make intentional decisions around what you offer, what you charge, how you explain your services, and how you want the business to grow. You’ll also look at the less exciting—but important—pieces of practice development, including organization, professional records, managing your time, educating clients, and reducing the risk of building a schedule that eventually becomes unsustainable.
